Thank You Aunt Sharon for making a difference in so many lives!
My Aunt Sharon was always a role model and inspiration in my life. She spoiled me as a little girl, making me hand sewn Barbie Doll clothes for Christmas one year while she was studying and completing nursing school herself. I still have some of those outfits as my daughter loved the hand me down family treasures. Aunt Sharon became a nurse and worked for Interim HealthCare in Columbus, Ohio for 25 years as a supervisor wearing many hats before her retirement . She was one of the first nurses to ever care for a home mechanical ventilator patient. Her love of nursing motivated me to become a Respiratory Therapist. Her oldest granddaughter that will graduate next month from nursing school continuing with the caring tradition. Proud to call her Aunt, friend, mentor.
